The annual bike ride of the Valatie Free Library and the North Chatham Library will take place on Saturday, August 12 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the Albany-Hudson Electric Trail. Participants starting at Valatie Free Library will bike to the North Chatham Library and back. North Chatham participants will start at North Chatham and bike to Valatie Free Library and back. There will be a drawing for a prize of a free bike tuneup at each library for those who complete the course. Velo Domestique provided the gift certificate prize at VFL and Steiner’s provided the gift certificate at North Chatham. There will also be a drawing for two prizes (gift certificates for the Chatham Book Store) at each library for kids who bike part of the course to Niverville.
Plan to join us even if you have not previously registered for this event. DROP-INS ARE WELCOME. Sign in at VFL to have the provided ticket stamped; then have it stamped at the halfway location in Niverville, at North Chatham Library and finally again at VFL. Good luck to all!!
