On Saturday, March 24th, former Congressman and retired United States Army Colonel, Chris Gibson, spoke at the Valatie Free Library about his vision for a united America. Following his presentation, he answered questions from the audience and then signed copies of his new book, Rally Point: Five Tasks to Unite the Country and Revitalize the American Dream. Thank you, Congressman, for giving us much to consider and to discuss: the intentions of the founding fathers, the responsibilities of the three branches of the government, the Bill of Rights, Amendments to the Constitution.
