A Dangerous Moment
We invite you to stop in to view the new look in the recently renovated section of the Valatie Free Library. Jarvis Baillargeon’s paintings of the Revolutionary War Henry Knox Trail are now hanging there. Not only are they a beautiful addition to the Library and an enhancement to the room; they also recapture a historical event, transport of canons from Ticonderoga to Boston. One of the stops on that journey was a building behind the present VMA and very close to the present Valatie Free Library. When you are here, take a booklet which describes the history depicted in each painting. Relive our local heritage!
